Maybe its just the new bike lanes, but Fashion obsessed New Yorkers have been hitting the headlines (and lamp-posts) and getting regular concussions due to fashion labels taking little interest in protective head gear.
We need protective headgear that is reflective of our cultures taste and aesthetics. Headgear that is not affordable to the masses, that makes a statement, that is hand sewn in a small Italian village by celibate nuns.
It might just be a dream today, but someday... on the street ....
